With one going up, it is going to be tough.
There’s numerous title contenders.
Who will be made of the sternest of stuff?
And who will be only pretenders?

Dundalk are the fav’rites to pick up the title,
But so they were also last season.
For Longford, a bit of consistency’s vital
And Waterford don’t need a reason.

And what are our chances? Do we have a hope?
It isn’t a fanciful notion.
A little voice says we’ll do better than cope
And may even push for promotion.
